The Cyborg Barracks is a small underground facility run and guarded by Cyborgs. The entrance is located in the north east of Greater Tir County at the /waypoint 3250, 2350, 647. It is partly surrounded by a rocky formation but it is fairly easy to access. Clan sided players can simply run from Tir while others will have to be more creative and either run from Temple of the Three Winds or make their way there by another route (you do have a good map don't you?) The cyborgs you will encounter there have a level range of about 70 - 80. The instance can be entered by all players, regardless of their level. For their level the cyborgs have a lot of hitpoints. The inside of the instance is pretty confined, which means you will find multiple cyborgs close to each other. Depending on your level you may get a lot of (social) aggro. |
Loot in the Cyborg Barracks
The probably most looked after loot are the two Hellguns which can be found in the barracks:
- Hellfury Assault Cannon rare drop of the Augmented Cyborg Hellfurys. (Hellfury Upgrades)
- Hellspinner Shock Cannon rare drop of the Prototype Inferno. (Hellspinner Upgrades)
Those cyborgs outside have "good" drop rate of Cyborg Implants for Atroxes and Cyborg Death Squad Armor. Items are in QL 50ish range and this is using the term "good" rather loosely. Both Cyborgs inside and outside also drop Library of Foul Language, an Enforcer aggro tool which can be upgraded to the Codex of the Insulting Emerto.
Similar to instances like the Steps of Madness the probability of looting one of the further down mentioned items is very low. According to veteran players it used to be much higher; if the current drop chance is actually 'bugged' is left open to discussion.
Unique Encounters
There are five unique NPCs in this instance: three unique encounters, a unique mob that is a quest target, and a NPC quest contact.
