Cyborg Barracks are located in Greater Tir County (3232,2340). For Clans it can be reached by simply exiting at west gate in Tir and running north. Omnis and Neutrals (since Tir guards don't look kindly on them) can use the teleport to ToTW in Rome and run east from there. It is partly surrounded by a rocky formation but it is fairly easy to access.

| The Cyborg Barracks are two small underground facilities, identical in many respects, run and guarded by Cyborgs.<br/>
 +
One is located in the north east of Greater Tir County at the <code>/waypoint 3233 2333 647</code>.  Another is in Avalon. Both are partly surrounded by rocky formations, the Avalon site in particular, but are both relatively easy to access for the zones they are in. Clan sided players can simply run to the Tir Co. site from Tir while others will have to be more creative and either run from Temple of the Three Winds or make their way there by another route.

 +
The Tir cyborgs have a level range of about 70 - 80 and the Avalon ones, naturally, are higher. The instances can be entered by all players, regardless of their level.

+
For their level the cyborgs have a lot of hitpoints. The inside of the instance is pretty confined, which means you will find multiple cyborgs close to each other. Depending on your level you may get a lot of (social) aggro.

 +
Outside, the Barracks lies at the end of a box canyon. The layout generally speaking spirals outwards as you move downwards.

Dungeon itself is designed for levels 50+ (if teamed) and 70+ if soloing. But in either case fighting in there will not be easy, since mobs have large aggro range and dungeon itself is extremely small.
+
Avalon
 +
High rocks completely surround the Barracks, with only a tunnel through them in the West. The ramps lead down, but back up again towards the end.

Like the name suggests, the place is filled with Cyborgs. There are usually several even before you enter it. Those outside have "good" drop rate of Cyborg Implants for Atroxes and Cyborg Death Squad Armor. Items are in QL 50ish range and I'm using term "good" rather loosely. Both Cyborgs inside and outside also drop Library of Foul Language, an Enforcer aggro tool.
+
Loot in the Cyborg Barracks
 +
The probably most looked after loot are the two Hellguns which can be found in the barracks:
 +
*<aodb>153977</aodb> Hellfury Assault Cannon rare drop of the Augmented Cyborg Hellfurys. (Hellfury Upgrades)
 +
*<aodb>153976</aodb> Hellspinner Shock Cannon rare drop of the Prototype Inferno. (Hellspinner Upgrades)

 +
Those cyborgs outside drop around QL 50 Cyborg Implants for Atroxes and Cyborg Death Squad Armor, both at a low rate. Both Cyborgs inside and outside also drop Library of Foul Language at a very high rate, perhaps over 10%; the Library is an Enforcer aggro tool which can be upgraded to the Codex of the Insulting Emerto.

Unique Encounters
There are five unique NPCs in this instance: three unique encounters, a unique mob that is a mission target, and a NPC mission contact.

Upon entering dungeon itself and disposing of two mobs there, you move down the ramp with two doors and five or six Cyborgs. Picking right over left one only matters if you're only interested in mobs in lower level. So for purpose of introducing dungeon, we'll turn left and travel trough all rooms. Since each room is populated with one to 5 Cyborgs, we will only highlight special encounters (bosses and the likes).

All cyborgs will occasionally put their weapon aside to kick or punch you, so be ready for that. Cyborgs use a diverse selection of weapons so be careful of their damage type, and as mentioned above they do have the ability to throw in melee attacks on top of their ranged ones if you let them get close enough. Cyborgs can take down an unpreprared fighter or a poorly organized team very quickly.

In first room trough left door you can encounter General Severus. I used "can" because in 2 hours spend in there General didn't respawned, so I can't report on his or other bosses spawn timers. Should a mob be missing, I would suggest you visit the place at some other time if you're after specific loot. Severus, like all other bosses, has large amount of health and hits hard for his level. He drops Severus' Fusion Sprayer and Severus' Void Spinner.

The Prototype Inferno has a 200% reflect against energy, radiation and fire damage. This means weapons dealing any of these damage types won't have any effect on him. Furthermore, you would need reflect rippers adding up to over 100% to open up a hole in these damage types.

+
Players doing the Uncle Bazzit mission will have to tag the Prototype Inferno. The usual respawn time is 20 mins, but now and then it will take up to about 60 mins for him to (re-)spawn. Make sure you have enough time left before entering the instance.

Force-effect Vibro Blade

After fighting your way down the ramp, you'll notice a couple of differences. First of them is that lower level consist only out of two rooms. Second is that Cyborgs are named a bit different. And third that there's a neutral NPC standing in a corner of the bottom level.

Her name is Janella Gheron and she gives out a quest for Engineers to kill Jack "Leg-Chopper". She can't be attacked and can't be aggroed. Cyborgs in the room (they are lined around walls, so managing aggro is a bit easier) bear different names and beside regular items also drop SSC Reversive Energy-Packs. Those are used for upgrading another weapon found in the Barracks. Ready for main room? No? No problem, stop reading and return here when ready.

SSC Reversive Energy-Packs

In main room there are 4 mobs, possibly even less if any was killed and didn't respawned yet. Most are usually turned towards walls, so there is little chance of pulling aggro by accident. First two are named Augmented Hellfury Cyborgs and drop Hellfury Assault Cannon. A nice weapon for Soldiers without game expansions and even nicer if upgraded (no, the upgrade aren't those Energy-Packs, we'll cover that later on. You can read about upgrading gun in this guide). Those two respawn on ca 5 min, so they are hard to miss.

Hellfury Assault Cannon

Next mobs you have fairly high chance of encountering is Prototype Inferno. This one takes part in Bazzit's quest. That quest only involves tagging him, but quite a few players kill it upon completing the quest.

Considering this is one of boss mobs in here, it has fairly fast spawn, only 1 hour. Should you decide to kill it, some warning is in order...it has high radiation reflect shield and 100% energy damage absorb shield. So check what kind of damage your weapon does and if needed change to some other damage. It drops Hellspinner Shock Cannon (another not-Energy-Packs upgradeable weapon. You can read about upgrading gun in this guide.) and Augmented Cyborg Armor. Beside some NCU, armor don't add anything special and have gap in Cold AC. Considering the trouble to get it, I would advise against it to all but most bored players.

Hellspinner Shock Cannon

Augmented Cyborg Armor

Which leaves us with main boss. It's a white droid looking Cyborg called Commander Jocasta that wields a sword.

Beside Augmented Cyborg Armor he also drops the following items:

Immortal Katana

It drops in various QL

Faded Immortal Katana

It drops in various QL and yes, this one can be upgraded by Energy-Packs

Broken Immortal Katana

It drops in various QL, this one can be upgraded with MMR (Improve Slashing Weapons)

Improved Immortal Katana

Drops in various QL and yes, if lucky enough you can get Improved version

Bonehammer

Internal Anti-Matter Powerplant

caution, this is implant and while + damage sounds nice there might be some other skills you want to implant in your waist

Sub-Dermal Vengeance Screen (Left Wrist)

Sub-Dermal Vengeance Screen (Right Wrist)

Final word - Regarding the intended level for this dungeon, risk vs reward doesn't pay up. And while Mort Cyborgs are one of preferred outdoor mobs, those in this dungeon are a bit too much packed together to make it viable leveling spot. But it's great spot to train pulling and aggro management. It's also one of few places you can actually see a cake fight.

Be sure to check out the Mid Level Encounter: Cyborg Domain guide if the Cyborg Barracks are no challenge for you.

Cyborgs in Missions

You can also of course pull cyborgs in missions, although this is a lot more like rolling the dice hoping they'll be there when you enter a mission. The best bet is to set your mission slider to 100% chaos on the mission select display, this however could lead to any type of mob other then the cyborgs you want.

The Cyborg Barracks are two small underground facilities, identical in many respects, run and guarded by Cyborgs.

One is located in the north east of Greater Tir County at the /waypoint 3233 2333 647.

The Tir cyborgs have a level range of about 70 - 80 and the Avalon ones, naturally, are higher. The instances can be entered by all players, regardless of their level.

For their level the cyborgs have a lot of hitpoints. The inside of the instance is pretty confined, which means you will find multiple cyborgs close to each other. Depending on your level you may get a lot of (social) aggro.

Cyborg Barracks

Tir Co.[edit]

Outside, the Barracks lies at the end of a box canyon. The layout generally speaking spirals outwards as you move downwards.

Avalon[edit]

High rocks completely surround the Barracks, with only a tunnel through them in the West. The ramps lead down, but back up again towards the end.

Loot in the Cyborg Barracks[edit]

The probably most looked after loot are the two Hellguns which can be found in the barracks:

Those cyborgs outside drop around QL 50 Cyborg Implants for Atroxes and Cyborg Death Squad Armor, both at a low rate. Both Cyborgs inside and outside also drop Library of Foul Language at a very high rate, perhaps over 10%; the Library is an Enforcer aggro tool which can be upgraded to the Codex of the Insulting Emerto.

Unique Encounters[edit]

There are five unique NPCs in this instance: three unique encounters, a unique mob that is a mission target, and a NPC mission contact.

Mission Target[edit]

Prototype Inferno

250px-Cyborg barracks unique prototype inferno.jpg

The Prototype Inferno has a 200% reflect against energy, radiation and fire damage. This means weapons dealing any of these damage types won't have any effect on him. Furthermore, you would need reflect rippers adding up to over 100% to open up a hole in these damage types.

Players doing the Uncle Bazzit mission will have to tag the Prototype Inferno. The usual respawn time is 20 mins, but now and then it will take up to about 60 mins for him to (re-)spawn. Make sure you have enough time left before entering the instance.
