Repairman's Hat
For engineers, style with functionality is a matter of pride, and that is why the Repairman's Hat was invented. Well... Maybe not the only reason, but it does look spiffy and provide low level tradeskillers with some very nice tradeskill boosts for the level, plus the hat itself levels up to a QL of 50.
The tradeskill process to create it requires Notum Chips, but is slightly different to making CAS Symbiotic Armor and other Notum Chip enhanced armor. The hat ingredient is different, of course, and the base hat is transformed with the Field Quantum Physics All-Purpose Tool, but also, only one Notum Chip is required, making the Activated OT Metamorphing Liquid Nanobots Stabilized, but not Super-Stabilized.

Tradeskill Process
The combination of items in Anarchy Online works as follows:
Open the tradeskill window (Shift + T). Here you can place the two items you want to combine in the left and middle part. The resulting Item will be shown in the right area. Missing skills, or non possible combinations will be shown below. A detailed look on the resulting item is possible with a simple shift-left-click on it. It is recommended to have free inventory space before combining items, else the item will end in the overflow window.
