Mantis
Mantises are insectivorid creatures found in southeastern Aegean, in the north of Mort, in the Smuggler's Den, and in missions. Mantis can drop any of the six types of Miy's Armor. Body parts that drop as loot from Mantises are used to make Metallic Mantis Armor. There are two types, categorized by their environment: Sand Mantises and Sylvan Mantises
Like many other creatures, Mantises will aid each other, joining in any battles in their vicinity. Mantises have a noticeably different AI tactic to most other creatures, though; they will run away to heal. Pursuing them may prove dangerous as they prefer to run away to where other mantises are gathered. Using Root effects, or saving Alpha attacks such as Burst and Brawl to finish them off quickly, can counter this behaviour.
They should not be confused with Mantezes, which are humanoid, despite their Mantis-like forearms.

All true Mantis Dyna Camps are in Perpetual Wastelands, although there is a significant presence of Mantises in the southeastern corner of Aegean
