Armor only equippable by Nano-Technicians, and Agents in False Profession: Nanotechnician; this unusual light purple armor is the original nanoskill buffing armor. It has three skill requirements, rather than the usual two: Intelligence, Stamina, and Agility. However, the values are lower individually: level 200 Metaplast requires 500 Intelligence to Carb's 580 Stamina, and only 300 Stamina and Agility to Carb's 476 Agility. On the other hand, Intelligence is harder to buff, and Nanomages will be able to equip Metaplast easiest and at the highest level.

It is made out of metal sheets etched with a tool, in the same fashion that Carbonum Plate Armor is, but the base sheets are much harder to find. The Notum Saturated Metaplast Shells needed to make this armor drop in lower qls from Mole Droids like Scooplets Digbots and Shovelets as well as much higher levels from the Boss mobs at Hollow Island.

Different values for the Nano and Casting bonuses, depending on the armor piece, and similarly, different Breakpoints for the bonuses:

  • Body: up to +5 from QL1, 26, 76, 126, 176
  • Head, Arm, Legs: up to +4 from QL1, 35, 101, 167
  • Hands, Feet: up to +3 from QL1, 51, 151

Aegean is a good place to start for QL 60 and other levels of Shells; Scooplets may be a relic of the war, remaining east of Wartorn Valley. Their presence is certainly due in part to the tendency of Omni-Tek to discard what is inconvenient; the proximity to Old Athen makes it politically, and their hidden state makes it logistically, difficult to retrieve them.

The Screwdriver and the HSR-Tools are only existant in QL10, but they work for QL200 armor too.

Tradeskill Process[edit]

The combination of items in Anarchy Online works as follows:

Open the tradeskill window (Shift + T). Here you can place the two items you want to combine in the left and middle part. The resulting Item will be shown in the right area. Missing skills, or non possible combinations will be shown below. A detailed look on the resulting item is possible with a simple shift-left-click on it. It is recommended to have free inventory space before combining items, else the item will end in the overflow window.
