Pendpods are stealthy and perceptive. Green levels tend to not attack, but high levels will aggro, and aggro more often and sooner than other creatures, because of their heightened awarenessess; they will see Rubi-Kans approach, or a fight between Rubi-Kans and another Pendpod, sooner than other creatures. This formidable fighting ability belies their appearance, which is comic.

A Pendpod waddles with its neck and head far forward, its short legs forcing it to shift its weight from side to side, and its tetherball-like appendage swinging from side to side.
