Desert Nomads wander the desert wastelands of Rubi-Ka. Players quickly learned of their special loot they drop and went in search of them.
They appeared on the 10th anniversary 2011 of Anarchy Online, and reappear annually ever since, from 25-27 June every year for 2-3 weeks.
Their levels vary based on playfield and attack players on sight unless they are much higher than them.

- Broken Shores west side - level 100
- Mort level 150
- Perpetual Wastelands west side - level 250 - drops up to level 300 armor. They have about 200k hit points.
