Simon Silverstone is the leader of the largest Clan on Rubi-Ka, the Sentinels.  He believes in radical change for Rubi-Ka, including the complete overthrow of Omni-Tek rule.  His clan is based in Wailing Wastes, Tir, and Mort (which is rumored to be a secret underground city named Sparta).

Before his leadership of the Sentinels Clan, Simon Silverstone was a farmer with a wife and children.  As the war moved closer to home, Mr. Silverstone shed his neutrality and enlisted into the clans, conducting many operations against Omni-Tek. Under Simon's leadership, the Sentinels have grown to become the largest clan on Rubi-Ka.

Simon Silverstone became disenchanted with the path of diplomacy taken by the Council of Truth.  On one occasion before the signing of the Tir Accord, he publicly denounced the Accord, and the Council of Truth for having betrayed the clan cause, and left the Council.

When the Sentinels moved into Tir to take it back from the ICC, Silverstone declared that it was to be a clan-only city and that any non-clan that set foot there would be shot on sight. (OOC: This came out at the time that Sentinels began aggroing Neutrals and Omnis in Tir)  Some among the neutral population still see this as a threat to to their neutrality.  Debate and argument about this topic continues.

When the Council of Truth formed again after being destroyed by the Dust Brigade, outside support from the Council of Ares and other pressure, Simon Silverstone won the position of Speaker of the Council, having more clans who supported his viewpoint.  Neutrals worried about invasion and Omnis believed that Clan past support for peace had waned, as they were now showing support for someone Omnis saw as a warmonger.

In an interview in 29478, Silverstone proposed that the establishment of the Newland City Guard was in danger of being tainted by Omni influence, due to its substantial financial backing from Omni-Tek sources and training by Omni-Tek Armed Forces officers. If they took Omni-Tek money and remained above its influence?

The reporter touched on a sore point when inferring hypocrisy in his portrayal of OT as killers, eliciting an angry response from Silverstone.

It seems apparent that Simon still bears scars from his loss, and that he must be of stern stuff to have lead his Clan after such a tragedy. Some may question whether or to what extent it might have affected his judgement. Others, such as the reporter that interviewed him, are fully convinced, on the same evidence, that he is full of hatred and determined to exact his revenge on Omni-Tek.
