It should be mentioned that there is no need to type out the complete channel name when switching channels via /ch commands. You can simply type the first few (or in some cases one letter) letters of the channel name and hit the Tab key to autocomplete the name. If more than one name is possible, you will see all possible choices listed. For example, if you wish to speak in vicinity chat, you can simply type: /ch v, followed by the Tab key.
