Halloween

Halloween on Rubi-Ka is a strange and wondrous time. The skies all over the planet darken, mist and fog creep over the land, the day shortens, and Uncle Pumpkin Head starts appearing in areas around the Terraformed zone. In the cities, strange leets appear offering tricks (in the form of shape change effects) and treats to curious the passerby who stops to talk with them. Often there are also parties led by ARK, GM appearances, and all manner of other mischief to be had. The festivities for Halloween last for two weeks, a week before October 31st, and a week afterward.

Each new Halloween brings some new and interesting additions to the gifts, loot, and events that happen.

2008

In 2008 we saw the return of the Griefing Uncle Pumpkin Heads giving out similar loot to the ones found in missions. Additionally, UPH seemed to find his way onto the official AO forums to play a cryptic game with the players by leaving clues to some strange mystery.
