The Nano and Heal Delta describes the natural regeneration of your Nano and Healthpoints. This process is very slow in the beginning levels of the game but reasonably effective for endgame characters. There are two factors in these healing rates that need to be kept in mind: The time between healing ticks, or tickrate, and the amount healed on each tick.
When a character sits down, HP Delta Value doubles, but Nano Delta Value remains the same.
Tickrate
Increasing Delta Tickrate is notably more effective than increasing Body Development and thus Delta Value (amount) because the time between ticks can be lowered (and thus the rate increased) by a much larger degree than Delta Value.
Tickrate at 780 Psychic is fourteen times faster than at 5-59 Psychic.
The situation is reversed when it comes to items. There are no items that raise Delta Tickrates, but numerous and effective ones for Delta Values.
The tickrate depends on the
Psychic Skill for your Nanodelta and
Stamina Skill for your Healdelta.
Below you see a skill list with all caps you need to reach for the next lower tickrate.
All values are for your standing regeneration value.
Nanodelta Caps:
|
Healdelta Caps:

This results in the following formulas for the tickrate calculation:
- Nanodelta tickrate
- tick period = 28 - 2 * ( PSYCHIC / 60 )
- Healdelta tickrate
- tick period = 29 - ( STAMINA / 30 )
Value: Delta Amount
The amount of healing is determined by the level of your Body Development skill and any items that add to the HealDelta or NanoDelta abilities. Deltas are raised one point for every 100 points of Body Development. Items and Buffs that raise Nano and Healdelta directly, for example Jobe Clusters in Implants, tend to be more effective. Nano Cost Reduction items and implants are even more effective. Compared with Tickrate, Value is raised less with Improvement Points and more with items: it is raised a max of six times (Atrox Nano Delta and Nanomage Heal Delta)
You can also raise the amount with your Body Development Skill.
First of all every Breed has a basevalue:
Breed | Nanodelta | Healdelta |
Atrox | 2 | 4 |
Solitus | 3 | 3 |
Opifex | 3 | 3 |
Nanomage | 4 | 2 |
On top of this you gain 1 point for each 100 points of Body Dev.
Therefore you get the following formulae:
- Nano regeneration amount = Racial Nanodelta basevalue + (BodyDev / 100) + items and buffs
- Health regeneration amount = Racial Healdelta basevalue + (BodyDev / 100) + items and buffs
