ICC Shuttleport

ICC Shuttleport, also known as "Newbie Island" or "Noob Island", is where all new players spawn upon completion of character creation. It was added with the "Alien Invasion" expansion, previous to this new players would spawn in their Faction's backyard.

On arrival new players are greeted by Brandon Thorn, who will give out simple missions and reward players with essentials such as Treatment Plants for their Health and Nano Pool.

The island introduces players to the factions of Rubi-Ka, Nano Programs, fighting, missions and interacting with NPCs.

Simple missions are given out by NPCs with rewards including Newcomer's Armour, upgraded weapons, and sided shoulderpads.

Newbie Island sided vendors (Omni-Tek and Clan; can only be interacted with if you choose their faction) sell items like Omni-Tek Sunglasses and Omni-Tek Technical Library that are worth a relatively large amount of money on the mainland. The difficulty in obtaining them makes it impractical to farm for them for a long time, credits are hard to come by on ICC Shuttleport and it may take as much as an hour to obtain the resources to buy just one of the items.
