Most of the equipment that is received from the missions given by the NPCs can be made with parts from around the island and items that can be bought from Antonio Stacklund up by the Teleport Tower.

There are two main kinds of tradeskills on the island: Weapon Upgrades, and Equipment Creation.

Adri Afeli's offer to upgrade weapons stands eternally; the quest can be repeated to get the dual weapons that many players need, and bypassing the need to buy the Antonio's Adaptation Factory for Weapons Upgrades, although Equipment Creation still requires it.
