Gems and rings drop well in Biomare, gems notably from Bloaters and Floaters. The Backyard bosses or any Dyna Camp Boss can drop gems and rings. Bloodcreepers and other spider enemies drop rings and gems. Lower quality gems and rings are easier to cut.

Collect gems, cut them with a Jensen Gem Cutter

Jensen Gem Cutter and uncut gem in inventory, left click on the gem cutter so it is on the cursor. Hold down shift and right click on the gem
