This is a set of classic weapons that used to be extremely powerful and commonly used, but has fallen out of favor in the light of the newer weapons with a faster attack speed and a higher minimum damage. Mantis weapons, though, are still quite brutal when used on Rubi-Ka. These weapons, of course, come from mantai; though not just any mantai, only certain ones in the Smugglers Den will drop them. The Mantis Breeders have a chance of dropping a Mantis Scissors and the Mantis Queen commonly drops the Queen Blade. To upgrade these weapons, you will need the Diamond-Matrix Mesh which only drops from one of the Eastern Foul Plains Soldiers: the Diamondine Soldier, though the Diamondine Trainee will also sometimes drop it. These mobs can be found at 'The Fort' in the Eastern Foul Plains.

Tradeskill Process[edit]
The combination of items in Anarchy Online works as follows:
Open the tradeskill window (Shift + T). Here you can place the two items you want to combine in the left and middle part. The resulting Item will be shown in the right area. Missing skills, or non possible combinations will be shown below. A detailed look on the resulting item is possible with a simple shift-left-click on it. It is recommended to have free inventory space before combining items, else the item will end in the overflow window.
