Of the two ingredients that cannot be bought, the Small Titan Message Container became a near-90% drop sometime after 2007, making the other, the Fink Fragrant Morning Enhanced Coffee Block, by far the hardest ingredient to find. The Coffee Block drops regularly, as these things go, in normal RK missions. It might take 20 or so missions to find one, or it might take a lot more or a lot less, as is usual. The Message Container drops from Den Smuggler Pilots (level 149 mobs) in the Smuggler's Den; it also drops in missions, but less regularly.

Coffee is a very useful item, adding to Agg/Def, inits, run speed, and Critical Chance. Be aware that the Carioso Menthol Pseudo-Coffee Block will work in the same recipe, but creates a nearly useless product, which is entirely replaceable by the Admiral - Sugarfree Rum item from the specialty Trader terminal in Luxury Shops

The Small Titan Message Container: "This container is of a type often used to carry courier messages. There's a small hole in the container wall. You can see wires and blinking lights when you peek in there. Looks like this thing could be trapped..." - AO, Step 1.
"Bioplast is a very flexible material. It can be the most workable of any material, but it can also be hardened by the use of chemicals to become as good as possible to tear apart. This folder is sealed with some kind of biomechanical sustance." - AO, Step 2.
"The note is sealed and glued to the folder with a Cell-Seal. Sometimes those can be unstuck by using some type of dissolving liquid on them..." - AO, Step 3.

Step 4, although the items have text, is in common with many recipes: personalizing the item and (normally) making it NODROP. Click on the icons if you want to view the text. Steps four through seven should be done by someone with high Psychology, probably the bureaucrat (although the machine only takes 25 Electrical Engineering to use); the others have tradable ingredients and products, including step eight, the last.

The Note: "I have now done my part of the deal. 'Miyashiro Superior Coffee Machines' are now an available part of the 'Omni-Tek Standard Superior Office Interior'. As I assume you have done your part now, and added those machines to stock, could you supply me with one of those machines? This note should be recongizeable as a legal order, and as long as there's no ID tied up to it I will be the default recipient. You probably understand why I want it that way. Looking forward to do more business with you in the future, Yours K." - AO, Step 5.
"The note has your identity tied to it. That means that the item it requests from Omni-Tek's stores will be returned to you. If there only was a way to cover the scars from the broken, organic seal..." - AO, Step 5.
The result of Step 6: "A truly superior design - the Miyashiro Coffee Machine deserves its position as the best Coffee Machine ever made. Several types of coffee can be made with it. You just need one coffee block - and you'll have coffee for the rest of your life." - AO.

After that, you must choose which coffee block to permanently fuse with the machine. Careful - Carioso may sound more refined, but the Fink has the funk. Admittedly Fink makes one-use items, and Carioso coffee does add +1 Psychic when worn, but a Steaming Hot Cup of Coffee with +1 to Critical Chance is much more sought after than a Lukewarm Cup of Menthol Coffee.

The White Wine used to melt the Cell-Seal between the bioplast folder and the note may once have been a snap to obtain, but it now requires finding a food vending machine. Good Time Party Mixer NPCs sell everything but White Wine. There is a machine kiosk just outside Newland City, by the Bronto Burger.

From this point there are two different version of the coffee machine you can make. The first produces a coffee cup wear item that boosts Stamina and Psychic.
