Profession Items

Below you will find the items deemed either necessary or extremely important for each profession. Although some may not be "essential" for the development of your character, most are considered near-vital.
General
These items are essential to any character, regardless of profession.
Map Reader Upgrades
Map Reader Upgrades add capabilities to your play field map (aka the Mini-map) in different ways. These upgrades are essential to the game, but it is advised that players do not actually spend IP into Map Navigation to get these upgrades, if at all possible, since the required Map Nav can be buffed using implants.
Map Reader Upgrade -Directional Arrow - Adds an arrow to your map on your position to indicate what direction you are facing. Requires 25 Map Navigation Skill.- Map Reader Upgrade - Machines - upgrades your map to show many of the 'devices' that can be found in an area, including shop terminals and doorways. Requires 50 Map Navigation Skill.
- Map Reader Upgrade - People - Shows people type mobs on your map as white dots, including other players and human type mobs in missions or overland. Requires 80 Map Navigation Skill.
- Map Reader Upgrade - Monsters - Reveals monster type mobs on your map as bright red dots. Requires 130 Map Navigation Skill.
- Map Reader Upgrade - Side - Colors person dots to correspond to their side on your map. This makes Omni-Tek blue, Clan Orange, and leaves Neutrals white. This upgrade is highly recommended for mass PvP. Requires 450 Map Navigation Skill.

Trimmer - Positive Aggressive-Defensive - This trimmer increases the aggressiveness of a robot pet (including Bureaucrat robots) so they attack faster and draw more aggression from monsters. The effects of the trimmer last until you zone into a new area. It can be store bought up to ql 100.
Trimmer - Divert Energy to Offense - This trimmer out right adds to the damage of a robotic pet (including Bureaucrat robots) so they deal more damage every hit. The effects of the trimmer last for 5 minutes or until you zone into a new area. This trimmer can be store bought up to ql 200.
Trimmer - Increase Aggressiveness - This trimmer also increases the aggressiveness of a robotic pet (including Bureaucrat robots) so they will more likely keep the attention of monsters. The effects of the trimmer last until you zone into a new area. This trimmer must be tradeskilled.
Fixer Items
NCU Hacker Interface -- You have to build it. Combine a Nano Programming Interface with a Lockpick (both shop-buyable) to get it.
