Notum Chip

Notum Chips are an ingredient in Armor Tradeskills processes including CAS Symbiotic Armor, Barter Armor, Repairman's Hat and Physician's Cap.

Notum Fragment

Notum Fragments are interchangeable with Notum Chips for all tradeskill processes.

Enriched Notum Nugget

Nuggets cannot be used in other tradeskills directly, but must be processed into Notum Fragments first.

Tradeskill Process

The combination of items in Anarchy Online works as follows:

Open the tradeskill window (Ctrl-t). Here you can place the two items you want to combine in the left and middle part. The resulting Item will be shown in the right area. Missing skills, or non possible combinations will be shown below. A detailed look on the resulting item is possible with a simple shift-left-click on it. It is recommended to have free inventory space before combining items, else the item will end in the overflow window. The tradeskill window is further useful for examining unknown items for the number of tradeskill processes it can be used in.

Alternatively, pick up the source item and, holding down the Shift key, right click on the target item. This can only be done while both items are in your inventory; they cannot be inside packs or in a bank.

To convert the Nuggets your Sledgehammer QL needs to be 50% of the Nugget. The process has strength requirements.

Notum Pellet

More common than Notum Chips and Fragments at low levels; it is possible that they replace a percentage of the drop chance of Chips.

Either way, this is doubly unfortunate, as the Advanced Nano Rechargers and Sophisticated Nano Kits that can be made from Pellets are so easily replaceable by their shop bought counterparts.
