For the doctor in the house (but really, any profession can use it), there is a nifty hat out of the classic game that adds a nice spot of treatment and first aid skill as well as a large chunk of nano points for heal casting. This cap levels from 15 up to level 75. It requires a friendly trader to buy the base hat (Cap of the Besieger) from the Trader Shop. Notum Chips are required to craft the hat into the final product, in a similar way to CAS Symbiotic Armor and Barter Armor. While the cap is geared for Doctor or Trader use it is not profession locked, and below QL 45, it has the best treatment bonuses at the lowest requirements, so it can be a useful item for characters level 15 and over who cannot meet the requirements of a Stalker Helmet.

The Cap has a Title Level 2 (level 15 and over) requirement, even at its lowest level; at QL 45, the requirement increases to TL 3 (level 50 and over). While it can offer superior protection to Carbonum, it can only stay competitive at QLs just under the Title level requirements.

While higher QL Notum Chips than 15 can be used, as these chips or fragments can also be used to make CAS Symbiotic Armor and Barter Armor, it is recommended to use the lowest QL possible (13 is the lowest Super-stabilized Nanobots that can be combined with the level 15 cap, although lower notum can be combined to make those nanobots). At least level 31, and probably higher, Notum Chips and Nanobots can be used. Inasmuch as the use of Notum Chips for CAS is preferred, alternatives to the Physician's Cap may even be preferable. In terms of its treatment bonus, it is replaceable by the Stalker Helmet (+5 Treatment) until QL 65, where the Physician's Cap gains its maximum +6 Treatment bonus. Biomech Armor Helmet is equal to the Physician's Cap at QL 101, and superior at 123, where it gains +7, and gains up to Treatment +10 at 189.

Tradeskill Process[edit]

The combination of items in Anarchy Online works as follows:

Open the tradeskill window (Shift + T). Here you can place the two items you want to combine in the left and middle part. The resulting Item will be shown in the right area. Missing skills, or non possible combinations will be shown below. A detailed look on the resulting item is possible with a simple shift-left-click on it. It is recommended to have free inventory space before combining items, else the item will end in the overflow window.
