Below you will find the items deemed either necessary or extremely important for each profession. Although some may not be "essential" for the development of your character, most are considered near-vital.

These items are essential to any character, regardless of profession.
Map Reader Upgrades
Map Reader Upgrades add capabilities to your play field map (aka the Mini-map) in different ways. These upgrades are essential to the game, but it is advised that players do not actually spend IP into Map Navigation to get these upgrades, if at all possible, since the required Map Nav can be buffed using implants.
Map Reader Upgrade -Directional Arrow - Adds an arrow to your map on your position to indicate what direction you are facing. Requires 25 Map Navigation Skill.- Map Reader Upgrade - Machines - upgrades your map to show many of the 'devices' that can be found in an area, including shop terminals and doorways.
