Somewhat surprising, but true: the Player category is the counterpart to the Items category, broadly construed. Everything you equip or eat (nanos) is not the training and base abilities that make up the Player, or Character. And like Items, because it is very broad, it usually is a higher level category that does not necessarily appear on pages. And like Items, because it can be very specific, it is employed when there is no other useful category, such as Weapons, and fills in a gap in the lower categories as well.
