This table provides an overview of the relationship between skills on this page and the underlying abilities that increase the skills value through the trickle down effect. For example, you can increase a skill by one point that is 100% percent dependent on one ability by increasing that ability 4 IP points. For an ability that has a 50% skill dependency will require a maximum of 8 IP's added to the ability to increase the skill by one point.

The dreaded 'soul attack' or 'death strike' of martial arts legend. This skill is used primarily by Martial Artists, but is also enabled with certain melee weapons. Dimach's damage increases and refresh time decreases with higher skill.

Basic Info:

Martial arts represents your ability to make unarmed melee attacks. These attacks can occasionally be made in conjunction with a weapon that can deal a 'Combined MA attack'. Your level of martial arts determines your 'fist template' or the type of fist weapon your strike is modeled after by the game, as well as determining the speed of your attack.

Basic Info:

This odd skill was once used to turn melee attacks back onto an attacker, but this ability was disabled some time before Shadowlands was released. Now it is used primarily as a requirement for equipping or using certain MA attacks and Keeper weapons.

Body Development

Basic Info:

Body Development defines your maximum Health, or Hitpoints. It is exclusively dependent on Stamina. The Skill is also influenced by your Character level and Profession. Your Breed determines how many points of health you get per point of Body Development.

Rarely a requirement of items, Body Dev. is however a requirement of the Withered Flesh and Barrow Strength Shoulderpads; useful armor that can be obtained early on, from the Temple of Three Winds. Other items requiring Body Dev. can be found there and in its higher level counterpart, the Inner Sanctum.

Maximum Health is of course, a derived statistic. Effects affecting Body Development always stack with Max Health effects, and there are implant clusters for both.

Nano Pool

Basic Info:

This Skill defines how many Nano-Energy you have, and conversely how many nano-programs you can run before you need to rest. It is dependent to 70% on Psychic, 10% on Sense, 10% on Intelligence and 10% on Stamina. Your Profession, Level determine how many points of Nano Pool you can buy and your character's Breed determines how many points of nano energy you get per level of Nano Pool.

Maximum Nano is of course, a derived statistic. Effects affecting Nano Pool always stack with Max Nano effects, and there are implant clusters for both.
