Also known as GMS, the Global Market Search system allowed players to search the contents of the player shops introduced with the Alien Invasion expansions. Searches were conducted at search terminals located in major cities like Rome, Old Athens, and Borealis. These searches were also limited by the Side of the searcher; Omni-Tek and Clan members could only search shops of their own side and those of Neutrals, while Neutrals might search all shops.
