Aggression and allies

Medusae society is highly developed, yet Savage Medusae also roam in the Medusae lands and at its borders, seemingly tolerated by civilized Medusa society. It is as if the Savage form are the young that later metamorphose in the huge floating cocoons.

Interestingly, although these mobs will aggro Male and Atrox (who are officially gender neutral) characters on sight, they will not not aggro female characters unless they fight the Entvined humans who accompany Medusae. It seems likely that these humans have become mentally controlled in some way by the Medusae.

Non-drops

Crystalized Medusa Queen Hippocampus does NOT drop from Medusae, but rather is a random drop from the Fourth Brood Champion, Eighth Brood Champion and The Brood Mother at Hollow Island.
