This backpack is a nifty little item that serves multiple functions. First, it serves as a spiffy back armor piece for those people with enough mental fortitude to wear it. Second, it is an essential component for the Engineer gun upgrade series: Solar-Powered Pistol upgrades. Lastly, it is stylish and fully functional as a backpack, so you can actually put things in it. Getting the parts for the backpack are fairly simple until you get the blanket which will only drop from Medusae who are level 140 or above. If you cannot find one on the corpse of a Medusa in a mission, there are two camps of them on the eastern edge of the map in Eastern Foul Plains and Deep Artery Valley.

Tradeskill Process
The combination of items in Anarchy Online works as follows:
Open the tradeskill window (Ctrl-t). Here you can place the two items you want to combine in the left and middle part. The resulting Item will be shown in the right area. Missing skills, or non possible combinations will be shown below. A detailed look on the resulting item is possible with a simple shift-left-click on it. It is recommended to have free inventory space before combining items, else the item will end in the overflow window.
