Junkmetal Armor

Junkmetal armor is somewhat unusual in that it is crafted from only one ingredient that is exceptionally common loot. Robot Junk is easy to find, is an inevitable loot type for anyone doing the Omni or Clan Shoulderpads Quests or running Order typed missions, and all other parts can be bought in the shop. Junkmetal offers good protection, with lower protection against cold- and fire-typed damage, and adds a small bonus to Max Health.

The tradeskill requirements are high, and base skill gain cannot keep pace with it. Buffs and implants must be used to augment skills. The Trader line of tradeskill buffs: Apprentice, Journeyman, and Maestro, are ideal for this. As with Carbonum Armor, the HSR tools specific to each armor piece are used to etch plates, and the final process of converting the plates is facilitated by the use of the Mass Relocating Robot (Shape Hard Armor).

There is no Helmet in the Junkmetal armor set; unlike other armorsets with no helmet, however, Junkmetal includes shoulder pads, which offer advantages to characters too low in abilities to use shoulderpads from the Temple of Three Winds or too low in level to use shoulderpads from the Shoulderpads Quests.

Tradeskill Process[edit]

The combination of items in Anarchy Online works as follows:

Open the tradeskill window (Shift + T). Here you can place the two items you want to combine in the left and middle part. The resulting Item will be shown in the right area. Missing skills, or non possible combinations will be shown below. A detailed look on the resulting item is possible with a simple shift-left-click on it. It is recommended to have free inventory space before combining items, else the item will end in the overflow window.

Important:

  • There is no helmet piece in the Junkmetal set! The 'HSR-Helmet' tool is used to make the shoulderpads.
