The Cloaks of the Reanimated offer one of the best, if not the best, back protection for froob characters. The final 5/5 upgrade has a level 190 and up (Title Level 6) requirement, but characters of any level can use the 1/5, 2/5, 3/5 and 4/5 versions if they meet the Ability requirements.
Better still, it improves on the bonuses from the Cloak of the Reanimator.

Tradeskill Process
The combination of items in Anarchy Online works as follows:
Open the tradeskill window (Shift + T). Here you can place the two items you want to combine in the left and middle part. The resulting Item will be shown in the right area. Missing skills, or non possible combinations will be shown below. A detailed look on the resulting item is possible with a simple shift-left-click on it. It is recommended to have free inventory space before combining items, else the item will end in the overflow window.
This example shows the creation of a Cloak of the Reanimated Gladiator. All other upgrades are built the same way, substituting the proper soul in the second step.
At this step, the most basic cloak is made with the most basic bonuses. The upside of this is that the cloak has lower requirements to use. You can upgrade the cloak to increase its buffs and the requirements. When the final upgrade is complete the cloak opens up a special ability to use when activated.
From here, you add the awakened crystals, one at a time to the cloak to upgrade it. The cloak can be upgraded 4 times from its initial form. The full process is shown here to show the differences in each upgrade of the cloak.
