The Interstellar Confederation of Corporations leased the planet Rubi-Ka to the Omni-Tek Corporation with all expectations of a lucrative partnership. Since the troubles between OT and its employees began, the ICC, with many concerns including its public image and profits, has interceded in the political struggle, acting as a buffer between the two factions.
