It's advisable to have at least one free slot during the creation of new items.

Alien Invasion-only Nanos that require 400 in each of Chemistry, Electrical Engineering and Quantum Force field Technology Tradeskills to upload, and a Nanodeck to upload and use. Using Alien Matrix Alpha Box or Alien Matrix Beta Box, makes it download the nano in the same way as with Nano Crystals.

The first and fifth steps require 400 Mechanical Engineering and Pharmacalogical Technology to complete, but all of the ingredients and products of those steps can be traded between players.

The ingredients all come from Alien Playfields (APFs): Sector 13, Sector 28, and Sector 35

To use or upload the nanos requires a Profession Nanodecks (a reward given by Peacekeeper Constad in the course of the first Dust Brigade Quest) to be equipped. This is signified by the tag "User: Cyberdeck & (#)". This tag is not to be confused with the Nano-Technician Cyberdeck; the Nanodecks are similar to the Cyberdeck in that they enable the use of other items, but are otherwise completely separate.

Profession-specific Nanos added in a patch (Patch 17.10?).

To make Alpha or Beta cube you need to get all 7 parts for each cube.

Crafting[edit]

Base Tradeskills[edit]

The combination of items in Anarchy Online works as follows:

Open the tradeskill window (Shift + T). Here you can place the two items you want to combine in the left and middle part. The resulting Item will be shown in the right area. Missing skills, or non possible combinations will be shown below. A detailed look on the resulting item is possible with a simple shift-left-click on it. It is recommended to have free inventory space before combining items, else the item will end in the overflow window.

Steps one and five, requiring ME and PT respectively, can be completed by another player or players, e.g. an Engineer and a Doctor.
