+ | The higher the CL, the better the price to buy and sell items from or to [[Shop|NPC vendors and Shops]]. Every 40 CL will given an extra 1% discount off any nominal listed prices, and 1% markup to any price at which the player sells. Both the discount and the markup are additive to the nominal price, which is shown to newbie players with < 40 CL, thus an item sold at 1m credits to a newbie player with 5 CL (no discount) will be offered at 850k to a player with 600 CL (15 times 40 = 15% discount). The discount is fixed at the moment the player opens the kiosk listing and until they close the window by any method (either cancel or buy something). Thus if a trader buffs themselves with a 1 minute CL buff and the open the kiosk a few seconds later - they can then benefit from the discount granted by the CL buff even if they buy items after the 1 minute CL buff wears off as long as their kiosk window was open continuously this whole time.<br/> | ||

Tradeskill is more commonly the term used in Anarchy Online to refer to the process of crafting items. See Tradeskill FAQ for additional information. Trade and Repair (Trade & Repair in game) is the name used by the game to distinguish the group of skills that are requirements for the operations performed by the Tradeskill Window (Shift + T by default or left Menu >Actions >Tradeskill Kit, or just pick up the Source item, hold down Shift, and right click it on the Target item).

Breaking and Entering[edit]Basic Info:[edit]This skill allows to successfully unlock locked chests and doors in Missions using Lock Picks as long as your skill is at least double of the attempted mission level. Fixer only: every 200 of this skill obtained from investing into IP (improvement points) will raise the "richness of treasures" (in simple terms "richness" is QL, while "treasures" are items found in chests in missions) by 1% above the base 5% for the Fixer (all other professions have the bonus fixed at 0% regardless of the level of this skill). Examples: a Fixer with 150 B&E skill from IP doing a level 250 mission rewarding a piece of armor will have 5% bonus to QL of items found in chests, i.e. items in chests will be QL 262, while the end of mission reward will still be QL 250. With 810 B&E of which 680 comes from IP (680 / 200 = 3%) and 130 from a nano buff (does not count) the bonus will be 8% (5% + 3%) thus making chest loot to be of QL 270 (the end of mission reward still remaining at QL 250 if it is e.g. a piece of armor). It is also used in some tradeskills, most importantly cleaning implants, and needs to be 4.75 times of the QL of the implant being cleaned, and ais also required for certain Solar-Powered Pistol upgrades.
